The clubs Leinster Seniors Fourball team were also part of a very successful weekend for Castlecomer inter club teams when they defeated a very competitive Borris team in their first round match. Castlecomer won the two home matches and clinched victory when winning the first away game in Borris also. Team members home were, Marty O’ Shea and Ciaran Kelly,Christy Comerford and Andy Cleere. Away players were Martin Brennan and Seamus o Connor, Michael Dermody and Ned Mahon
