Castlecomer GC had another eventful weekend with the hugely successful annual fundraising classic running from Thursday to Sunday. Many thanks to all who helped make this an enormously successful venture. The amount of work that goes unnoticed and unheralded is phenomenal and without the huge amount of volunteers this event would not flourish in the manner it has, so well done and extreme gratitude to all involved. This major annual event took place in Castlecomer Golf Club From Thursday may 21st to Sunday 24th May. It was a great success with over 100 teams participating over the 4 days. Visitors were delighted with the course which is in excellent condition and enjoyed food and refreshments after completing their rounds. Congratulations to our hard working President Delia O Donoghue, the committee ,sponsors and volunteers. Well done to all teams who played and congratulations to all the winning teams. A special thanks to the main sponsor Rapid Fire and Safety Kilkenny.
