Continuing on the rich vein of form for our emerging lady golfers, the ever impressive Holly Shortall blitzed all comers in Billy Rowe’s Junior Captains Prize to capture her first ‘major’ in the club, one of many no doubt! Holly is an inspiration to all aspiring lady golfers, with the phrase ‘if you see it, you can be it’ springing to mind. Indeed some of our ladies could take inspiration from Holly and I know how highly the more experienced lady members regard her.
Well done Holly, with yourself and Cara flying the flag for the ladies, the future is bright indeed.
Spare a thought for JohnJoe Buggy who ran Holly close and his day will surely come as he is one of the most improved golfers in the club.
