Sunday saw the end of the road for our Barton Shield team. The lads didn’t have their best day it’s fair to say, and ultimately a plethora of missed putts cost ‘Comer. However, the lads can hold their heads high when they reflect on a hugely successful season. Team manager who coincidentally is this years men’s captain, was rightfully proud of his panel and was naturally disappointed after the match. The club would like to thank the Saturday lineup of Michael Buggy and Adam Comerford and Stephen Daly and Padraig Curry for their efforts and also to the extended panel of Niall O’ Sullivan and Graham Lawler.
