This team took on a very strong Mount Wolseley team in a 3rd round match. The two matches in Castlecomer were shared after Michael Daly and Andy Cleere won the first and Christy Comerford and Pat Comerford were unlucky to lose the second home match when their opponents birdied the final hole. With the two away matches both being halved It decreed a tie hole playoff in Mount Wolseley as they were the home team. Once again our team members rose to the challenge when Marty O Shea and Ciaran Kelly won the playoff on the first hole. The other half point in Mount Wolseley was won by Michael Dermody and Ned Mahon. Congrats to team manager Seamus O Connor and his team members on a great win over a very good Mount Wolseley team.
