A very successful social 9 hole scramble took place on Tuesday evening organised by Vice Captain Aileen Coughlan. It brought new ladies in golf together with the ladies in the club. A social gathering in the clubhouse for refreshments afterwards was most enjoyable.

Castlecomer ladies played Carlow in the Quarter final on Sunday 24th August on a home and away basis. The team at home secured victory in all 3 matches in a very sporting contest. Away team secured the half match for a win .The team are now in the semi final . Home : Eileen Healy, Brennan, Delia O Donohoe. Away : Maureen Norton, Jo Costigan, Caroline Conway.
