There was a large turnout of ladies and men competing in President Delia O’Donohoe’s prize competition over the weekend. Following some excellent golf, Edel Quirke won the ladies prize and Ronan Costelloe won the Men’s prize. Both golfers were very popular winners and it was a first ‘Major’ for both players.
At the presentation, President Delia thanked all club members that participated in her President’s Prize, and with the course in pristine condition, she thanked our head greenkeeper Liam O’Hara and our greenkeeping staff, and all club volunteers for their work on the course. She congratulated the winners and all the other players who won prizes.
President Delia was joined by her family members and friends as well as a large number of club members for a most enjoyable presentation night in the club. President Delia does a huge amount of work for our club, while playing for the club and supporting all our inter club teams, and we hope she enjoys the rest of her two year term as our club President.
