The culmination of a summer long campaign occurred on Sunday in Castlecomer GC with the Dunreidy Top 30 Series being won by Cian Rothwell, a vital cog in our greenkeeping wheel. With a magnificent score of 44 points, Cian held off some seasoned golfers to take this prestigious title.
Played over the entire Summer, the trainee pilot prevailed to take the spoils ahead of Martin Brennan, Pat Comerford and John Dowling, who all had 41 points. This unique competition rewards the consistently good scores in picturesque Castlecomer.
Played over six rounds of golf with the four best scores counting resulting in the 30 best cumulative scores shooting it out in the final.
