The auld lads did it!! The Over The Hill gang held off all threats in a pulsating finale to the Winter Team League.
The team of Kieran Bergin, John Holohan, Eamon Holohan and Tommy Buggy carried on their excellent form to pick up the winning prize.
Second place went to Jonny Dowling, Damien Knox, Mark O Dowda and Mark Shortall, while Martin O Donnell, Vincent O Donnell, Peter Mulhall and Ger Mullen were third.
The league was a huge success and many thanks to the organisers who ran the competition in trying meteorological conditions! There was also a 13 hole singles competition and John Dowling emerged as the winner, with Paddy Kealy runner up and Michael Manogue in third, while Brian Dermody finished fourth and Tommy Buggy was fifth and Shane Coakley won the gross prize.
