On Monday 25th August, Honoria Fogarty and Jo Costigan came 3rd inthe GRANARD CUP LEINSTER REGIONAL FINAL and now progress to the Grand Final in Mullingar on 11th September. Good luck Ladies.
In the PLAY IN PINK 2 PERSON EVENT IN Borris on 28th August, the winning pair were Freida Campion and Catherine Delaney (Carlow) with a fantastic score of 48pts. Helen Murphy and Marie Gannon won the back 9 prize. Congrats and well done to all. Breda Phelan won ‘nearest the pin’ in this event.
LADIES GOLF LESSONS
Facilitated by Jan Browne and coordinated by Caroline Conway, golf lessons have commenced on midweek evenings and are well supported by ladies of all abilities. Thanks to Caroline for her work in organising these lessons.

A very successful social 9 hole scramble took place on Tuesday evening organised by Vice Captain Aileen Coughlan. It brought new ladies in golf together with the ladies in the club. A social gathering in the clubhouse for refreshments afterwards was most enjoyable.

Castlecomer ladies played Carlow in the Quarter final on Sunday 24th August on a home and away basis. The team at home secured victory in all 3 matches in a very sporting contest.
